Case Management Assistant, PRN (as needed)
Job description
Valley View's Case Management team is seeking a PRN Assistant to work as needed. This position will work daytime hours - number of hours may vary depending upon need.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists as assigned with department projects (resource files, electronic directory, online resource list)
- Orders supplies for Case Managers
- Documents delivery dates of Important Messages from Medicare in Meditech system
- Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs
- Uses a professional, honest, direct approach in verbal and written communication
- Maintains confidentiality of all verbal and written communications and records
- Promotes and maintains collegial and collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers
- Other duties as assigned by manager or director
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma; Associate degree preferred
- Proficient in computer use
- Familiarity with office equipment and systems
SALARY:
- Wage range: $17.00 - $23.00/hour (+14% PRN differential)
- Entry wage dependent upon education, skill-set and experience
