Job description
The purpose of this Clinical Nurse Specialist (Sexual Health) post is to deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse Specialist Posts, 4thedition, National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) 2008.
Caseload: Adults over 16 years of age referred to the Infectious Diseases Service. The Clinical Nurse Specialist (Sexual health) will focus on Infectious Diseases Service Out Patient Clinic attendees.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (Sexual Health) will work in accordance with current NMBI Scope of Practice Guidelines.
