At Lincoln Healthcare we are proud to be seeking a permanent clinical specialist radiographer in mammography to join a busy multi-disciplinary team, to work across our clients multiple sites including their main campus and their two sites in North and South Dublin.

Contract: This is a full time, permanent position with the attractive salary of €60,000 - €65,000 based on experience and qualifications. The working hours are between 8am and 5pm - 35 hours per week, with the opportunity to work on call.

The successful applicant must have a Bachelor of Radiography Degree or equivalent, be CORU registered and a Postgraduate Diploma/Master in Mammography.

Purpose of the post:

• The primary role of the Clinical Specialist Radiographer is to provide leadership in the development and delivery of services and structures in the Mammography Department focusing on patient care and patient experience consistent with the ethos of the Mater Private Hospital.
• A key area of responsibility will be to lead Mammography staff to ensure a high standard of service delivery. Continuous quality improvement and the management of change are central to this role.
• Development of the Mammography services and structures using a strategic approach through clinical governance, quality improvement and change management to achieve overall organisational objectives for the service
• Develop operational policies, protocols and guidelines procedures to maximize utilisation of resources and ensure systematic audit of such usage.
• Advise on equipment selection, purchase, replacement or upgrading. Management of an equipment management program.

Essential requirements:

• BSc in Radiography or Equivalent
• CORU registration essential/In process of obtaining registration
• Postgraduate Diploma/Master in Mammography
• The successful candidate should have initiative and excellent communications skills with a motivational people approach

• Have similar experience working in a busy acute hospital
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic
