In our time of Company growth, we are seeking an Population Health Coding Specialist.

Location: Bradenton, FL * This is not a remote position *

As part of this role you will:

• Compiles, analyzes, and presents clinical data related to performance, compliant billing and documentation
• Collaborates with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), Coding, and Population Health teams to resolve ambiguous documentation and codes
• Audits medical records and abstracts data for reporting
• Uses data analysis to identify and develop provider education plans

What you need to bring to this role:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Coding Certification from AAPC (or other accepted certifying board) required (cannot be apprentice level certification)
• 2+ years' experience in medical coding required (5+ preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Tech savviness and an organized mind-set
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible, resourceful and able to troubleshoot
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
