Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. is looking for Apprentices in Washington State. We have locations in Moses Lake, Wenatchee, Benton City, Yakima, Washington and Milton-Freewater, OR. We are a heavy highway contractor that builds the roads you drive on everyday and we are looking to hire Apprentices to learn the construction trade.

This job is not for you if you want to sit behind a desk or work inside all day long. THIS JOB IS OUTSIDE. You will be exposed harsh weather, extreme heat or cold and the elements.Travel is required. We go where the work is, throughout Eastern Washington, Oregon and Idaho. IF YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN WORKING HARD WITH A GREAT TEAM, THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU.

What we provide:

  • Competitive wages. You will earn full journeyman wages while you are learning a trade. This means when you work on a prevailing wage job, you will earn the same wage as a journeyman.

What we require:

  • Must be 18 yrs. of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Willingness to complete class work (remotely) during off season
  • Desire to work as part of a team and grow in your career
