Job Description

Job Title: Cook Branch: Cheerio
Incumbent: Position Code: Non Exempt
Reports to: Operations Director Date: January, 2014

General Function
Prepare food for campers and guests. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.

Know How
Some experience in foodservice necessary.

Essential Functions

• Flexibility to adapt to situations

• Having an understanding of sanitation requirements

Principal Activities

• Preparation of food
• Cooking of food
• Using equipment for the purpose of food preparation
• Keep track of food temperatures during and after cooking process
• Keep work areas clean
• Wash dishes associated with cooking process
• Assist with snack preparation
• Assist food service supervisor in ordering needed food and supplies
• Assist with inventory control
• Quality control
• Other duties as required

• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
