Minimum Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree with six years related; or A.A. Degree with eight years related experience; or High School diploma or equivalent with ten years related experience.
- Preference will be given to individuals with experiences in business services to include: accounting, business development, financial administrator
- Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, management, and public speaking skills required.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills to solve problems, analyze trends and provide recommendations.
Job Goal:
Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the effective operations of a Lively’s business office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the overall operations of student financial services, billing and receivables, and cashiering functions of Lively.
- Supervise, organize, perform the billing, collection, deposit, disbursement and record maintenance of tuition and fees and other Lively and student related funds; participate in the establishment of policies/procedures regarding the above activities.
- Prepares financial, statistical, and operational reports related to all school accounts.
- Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
- Establish internal controls and guidelines for preparing transactions that comply LCSB policies and procedures.
- Collect, analyze, verify, and report financial information in accordance with LCSB policies and procedures.
- Monitors compliance with all federal, state and local laws, relevant contractual obligations, and accounting and reporting standards applicable to all campus grants.
- Deal directly with students or others to resolve all problems and complaints concerning student accounts.
- Performs other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by the Director.
