Updated Onsite Safety Standards:
- Face mask and disposable gloves are required for therapists. Gloves should be changed after each participant. Other personal protection equipment including goggles or a face shield is optional.
- Clients should be encouraged to wear to wear masks but not required
- All hair should be pulled back and secured if it is long enough to fall forward while massaging.
- Practice thorough cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing protocols for the massage chair, table, and any communal area the participants touch. Leave enough time between participants to allow disinfectant 30 seconds to dry.
- Practice increased hand-washing and hygiene protocols. Use hand sanitizer between clients when soap and water are not readily available.
- If there are multiple therapists working at the same time, maintain a distance of at least 6 feet between other therapists and participants.
- If a participant is waiting to be massaged, please ask that they maintain a distance of at least 6 feet between other therapists and participants.
- Practice social distancing standards at all times, unless you are working on a participant.
