CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Roof Penetration Housings, LLC (“RPH”) is an exciting and fast-growing commercial building products company serving architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners on projects ranging from hospitals to data centers to K-12 schools. We offer engineered solutions that prevent leaks in the roof or wall and that enable storm shelters and safe rooms to meet code and protect their occupants in the case of a tornado.

To keep up with our growth, we are seeking a motivated and high-energy Customer Service Representative (“CSR”) to act as the customer point person from first inquiry through final installation. The CSR would be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, generating quotations, processing sales orders, providing delivery updates, and responding to post-sale questions or concerns. To be successful in this role, the CSR must have commercial building products experience, proficiency in verbal and digital communications, and a positive and customer-centric attitude – is that you? Role and Responsibilities

  • Initial Inquiries: Act as the initial point of contact for inbound requests for information by phone, email, or website, and hand off communications to territory representatives or RPH point of contact as appropriate
  • Quotations: Review project plans, gather customer needs, and provide pricing and quotations
  • Submittals: Provide submittals to potential customers and respond to questions about RPH products and the specific needs of the project
  • Sales Orders: Complete sales orders and work with finance department to ensure orders are promptly entered into the fulfillment queue
  • Post-Sale Support: Provide updates as needed and respond to customer inquires about their order including delivery timelines, shipping information, installation issues, and product issues

Requirements

  • Experience in relevant commercial building products business (commercial roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or mechanical)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Experience in QuickBooks Enterprise a plus

Job Specifications

  • Full-time (40hrs per week)
