Data Management Specialist - SEE Program
Job description
The Center for Workforce Inclusion is recruiting for a Data Management Specialist position within the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program which provides support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Atlanta, GA. Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check.
Role And Responsibilities: Incumbent is responsible for technical support activities associated with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Imports, Section 7 and FIFRA Confidential Business Information (CBI) programs, which includes data entry and oversight of electronic databases associated with these programs. Incumbent provides records management and administrative support to the Pesticides Enforcement Section and the Chemical Safety and Land Enforcement Branch of the EPA Region 4 Enforcement and Compliance Assistance Division.
- Track and process Notices of Arrival of pesticides and devices submitted to EPA Region 4
- Process Section 7 reports from pesticide producing establishments
- Prepare reports and gather data needed and in support of Freedom of Information Act requests
- Ensure databases and tracking systems are updated and correct (e.g., enforcement tracker, etc.)
- Serve as the Document Control Assistant for FIFRA CBI documents
- Provide records management support to complete ICIS forms and related data reports
- Provide administrative support for scanning, copying, filing, phone duty, and other related work as needed
Qualifications And Education Requirements: Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; possess BA/BS in related field, 5-10 years. Must have the ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook; Teams, SharePoint. Prime candidates are self-starters with strong communication and customer relation skills. Must demonstrate ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and provide high level of customer service to internal and external customers. T
Hours & Compensation: Full-Time position working 40 hours per week ($18.01 per hour), vacation/ sick/holiday leave.
