Cody Dental Group, conveniently located near Yale Ave and Colorado Blvd, is now hiring a full-time, or part-time, Dental Hygienist - we are flexible on the days! We are a true "group practice". The collaborative approach to your overall health has been one of our hallmarks over the past 8 decades - we are the oldest continually operating dental group in Colorado! Daily interactions of general practitioners, dental specialists, lab technicians, hygienists, and assistants - all working within the same facility - ensures a smooth flow of information across all disciplines.
Our dental hygiene team consists of dedicated, patient-oriented professionals who work well together and strive to provide the highest quality of care day in and day out. We are not production-based and do not have quotas on products and services. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Updating Patient's Health History
- Updating Radiographs as needed
- Capturing IO Photos
- Screening the periodontal health of your patient
- Assessing caries risk and providing preventive recommendations
- Performing oral cancer screenings
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene
- Identifying malocclusion and educating patients about the potential impact on dental health.
- Providing dental prophylaxis and periodontal treatments
- Presenting treatment plans
- Building a rapport with patients and coworkers
