About the opportunity
As a Nova Systems International, Aerospace Integration & Test Entry Level Design Engineer (Cabin Safety/Structures/Avionics/Electrical etc.) operating in the design organisation, you are responsible for development of designs and certification activities for projects assigned to you. This includes development of the required design outputs (models, drawings, reports, documents etc) in readiness for approval as tasked by the Operations Director or delegate, within the defined project budgets for the tasks assigned.
What will I be involved in:
- Development of designs and/or design artefacts in accordance with EASA Design handbook in line with the scope, schedule and budget of assigned projects as part of the project team.
- Develop designs that are compliant with the requirements of the project, including but not limited to compliance with the customer specification, functional requirements, appropriate certification requirements, established design practices, and producibility requirements.
- Deliver on the certification, production, installation design support elements of the project in line with your allocated task budget and schedule.
- Translate the project requirements, including but not limited to customer functional requirements and certification standards, into the designs that you produce.
- Continuously develop your competencies to gain strong u nderstanding of the design guidelines, design rules and technical expertise in your discipline areas and technical domain.
What are we looking for:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering field.
- Competence in AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD tools.
- Eligibility to work in the UK, Ireland or Singapore, as applicable.
- Ability to work with a wide range of people in a broad spectrum of projects.
- High level of verbal and communication skills.
- Flexible, positive and committed team member who works to a very high standard.
