Job description
In this exciting global product management position, you bring a passion for meeting customer needs, the drive to grow a strategic part of the business, and an openness to collaborate with a cross functional Emerging Vendor team. In addition to P&L responsibility, you will focus on ensuring the product offerings are impactful and highly relevant for customers, enabling a dedicated sales and customer success team and supporting GTM activities.

The role can be based out of an approved east-coast remote office location or our IDC headquarters located in Needham, MA.
- Manage Emerging Vendor Product Line P&L's, including tracking, forecasting, track product and customer growth, manage expenses and profitability against plan. This includes partnering with Customer Success and Sales leaders to plan and forecast
- Interface with regional product leads to achieve a consistent and cohesive global product offering
- Maintain a pulse on customer successes, evolving market needs as well as competitive offerings to be THE “go to” person for this product line
- Evangelize the Emerging Vendor Product Line across IDC, including with IDC Analysts to drive audience success and product efficiency
- Using ongoing customer and internal feedback as well as market insight, innovate product enhancements as well as packaging and pricing direction
- Ensure product integrity by partnering with Product Operations to maintain global processes and governance
- Working directly with marketing, provide content to support pitch deck, and any other sales enablement material, campaigns and external GTM materials
- Lead and proactively push product training with Sales, Analysts, and Customer Success team
- Support sales efforts, and sales pipeline as needed as the point person for the Emerging Vendor value proposition
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8+ years in product management; ideally experienced with developing services offerings and/or packaged solutions
- Proven P&L management experience
- A resilient spirit demonstrated through confidence, optimism, problem solving with a growth mindset and adaptability
- Innate curiosity about customer needs – both internal and external – to maximize a successful product offering
- Proven experience working directly with sales and marketing to support overall GTM activities
- Leadership through influence
- Ability to work in a team, establish relationships across various functions and collaborate
- Some travel required
