Job description
Schedule and dispatch placing equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Provide effective customer service and support through in-depth knowledge of company products, programs, and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dispatch placing equipment to jobsites following order requests, location, and size of equipment needed.
- Talk with customers by phone and enter data into computer system.
- Negotiate with customers’ acceptable delivery times to prevent lost orders.
- Document customer complaints and forward to Dispatch Manager and/or Sales Representative.
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED).
- Three to five years related Dispatch experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic computer skills for entering orders.
- Knowledge of the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding areas.
- Communication in a positive and helpful manner with a variety of customers.
- Ability to read and understand maps.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
