Job description
The Employee Experience Coordinator will assist and support the Human Resources team in a variety of administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, coordinating interviews, onboarding new hires, assisting with employee benefits and supporting office operations tasks. The coordinator will also be responsible for other administrative duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position will be based in the Milwaukee office with some flexibility to work remotely.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records and Human Resources databases, including employee files and benefits information
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job posting and scheduling interviews
- Assist with the monitoring of Federal, State, and local regulations related to hiring, employment and employee benefit requirements
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork and orientation materials
- Support payroll and benefits administration as needed and answer employee questions
- Assist with office operations tasks, such as office reception area and coordination with building management
- Support the planning of company events, client and internal meetings, and initiatives
- Contribute and implement ideas to support the employee experience
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelor s degree in human resources field or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative role
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information and discretion
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
