Role: Engineering Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be able to effectively elicit role, project expectations, and explain the same to stakeholders participating in Scrum.
• Proven experience in leading teams in Scrum Agile & delivering complex applications.
• Exposure in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in an enterprise level to manage large programs, multiple teams in a collaborative way.
• Solicit performance feedback and use it to identify proficiency gaps in the remit of the role.
• Taking care of the delivery with good exposure in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API’s.
• Handle cloud native technologies, exposure to Containers, PODs, AWS Task Definition etc.
• Manage cloud infrastructure components specifically AWS and collaborate with cloud Ops and infrastructure teams whenever required.
• Lead applications & delivering solutions with AWS service offerings like ECS, EC2, Fargate, Cloudwatch, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Jenkins, Gitlab, SwaggerHub, Elk Stack
• Good understanding on Auth, Encryption and SSL implementations, DevOps Integration, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Maven
• Ability to triage and analyze issues and provide technical solutions.
• Periodically evaluate team performance and provide adequate feedback required to help members move along the path.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Overall, 5+ years of experience as Scrum Master to manage large programs following Agile.
• At least 5 years of development experience in Java/J2EE, AWS Technical stack in a lead role
• Exposure in designing and delivering end to end Application Solution design & implementation.
• Good understanding of data structures & No SQL DB
• Knowledge of Investment Management and Asset Management is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and participates actively in team discussions.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team/collaborative environment.
