Job Summary
The work schedule for this position is Sunday thru Thursday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The Food Service Site Manager is responsible for the Boardroom Bar, Golden Eagle, and both Starbucks coffee shops to include the supervision and management of employees, materials, supplies, and quality control of all work performed. Responsible for assisting the General Manager and working as Senior Manager on the PM shifts to include supervision and management of FBI, DEA, and scheduled catering events. Prepare and/or maintain required corporate and/or contractual reports regarding safety, daily or weekly checklists, ensuring adherence to contract requirements relating to the serving of guests in a clean and organized food and beverage operation. Maintain communication with contract representatives and corporate personnel.
Primary Duties

- Manage supervisory staff and associates responsible for the offsite venues in the successful completion of all goals and objectives as well as PM senior manager for FBI and DEA cafeterias with direct oversite of FBI Zone Supervisors.
- Prepare and/or ensure the preparation of all contractually required reports are completed and maintained on file and available for audit using checklists.
- Assist and aid the General Manager in the audit and inspection process ensuring that all performance measurable relating to the contract are completed meeting or exceeding standards using daily checklists.
- Maintain training records for supervisory staff and associates ensuring that required training is completed, which includes safety, drills, procedures, and effective methodologies of performing in a food service operation.
- Assist the General Manager with preparation and posting of employee schedules for off-site venues.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in weekly meetings where forecast of guests to be served and special events will be briefed and planned for accordingly.
- Perform tasks involved with purchasing, receiving, sorting, issuing, and inspecting foods, inventory control, and other related items.
- Maintain a personnel structure to accomplish goals.
- Help oversee operations and assign personnel location(s) for providing food service operations to meet contractual obligations.
- Train employees in kitchen safety, sanitation, and cleanliness, customer service, and research procedures as required.
- Complete records and reports as required by operations, rehabilitation, and human resources departments as well as the contractor.
- Ensure contract requirements are submitted and interface with contract personnel on all routine matters pertinent to contractual obligations.
- Interface with customers on a regular basis to solve issues that arise and assist in writing employee counseling reports as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
- Must be able to pass and maintain a Tier 5 FBI Security Clearance required.
- High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience at a food service establishment preferred.
- ServSafe (Renew every 5 Years) certification required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in the following areas: sanitation, conduction training, customer and employee relations, and safety and accident prevention.
- Must be able to work well with people internally and externally at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
- Must be detailed and team oriented and have excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, including excel, and the ability to become familiar with corporate specific programs and software.
- Working knowledge of food and labor cost control preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to utilize required software applications preferred.
