2nd Shift: 3:00PM – 11:30PM (Employees are currently working a 6-day work week)
Pay Rate: $19.75/hr.

Altium Packaging is one of the largest plastic container companies and suppliers of rigid plastic packaging. We specialize in customized mid- and short-run packaging solutions and serve a diverse customer base in the pharmaceutical, dairy, household chemicals, food/nutraceuticals, industrial/specialty chemicals, water, and beverage/juice segments.
We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable Forklift Operator for our Argos, IN location. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials while following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
- Load trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements
- Load and unload materials on or off pallets, skids or lifting device
- Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials
- Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules
- Keep production lines supplied with raw materials
- Label, sort, wrap and tie product
- Inventory product as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years' experience operating sit-down forklift
- Experience operating a clamp truck
- Basic math and computer skills
- Current OSHA forklift driving certification
