Warehouse/Forklift Operator 2nd shift

Monday - Friday, 2:30PM - 10:30PM

Currently, we have an opening in our Warehouse for a 2nd Shift Warehouse/Forklift Operator. This person will prepare orders with correct products and counts for on-time shipment to customer by truck or FedEx daily. In addition, the individual will receive incoming goods and signs paperwork for correct amount received.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Ensure safe operation of stand up and sit down forklifts and follow safe stacking and un-stacking procedures, follow safe work practices in completion of tasks.
• Correctly pull orders from stock to ship on a daily basis and consistently meet goals for pounds picked.
• Receive raw material and correctly stock said material and finished goods.
• Set up production lines with raw materials in a timely manner to facilitate customer orders.
• Make certain outgoing or incoming shipments have correct products and counts.
• Take items received from incoming trucks or FedEx and put in correct area, quarantine area, proper rack location or person designated to receive.
• Facilitate movement of materials within the warehouse by moving finished goods and raw materials to correct stock holes as locations become available.
• As incoming materials are released, move material to proper locations so that the quarantine area is cleared in a timely manner.

Requirements

This position requires:

• Basic math and reading skills
• 6+ months warehouse experience with stand-up forklift experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Good writing skills to complete paperwork as required
• Strong attention to detail, able to complete tasks accurately and timely
• Excellent organizational skills and good work ethic
• Ability to perform basic computer operations and data entry
• Overtime may be required based on customer demand.
