Home Instead - South Dublin is looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our team of Healthcare Assistants and to support our clients in the comfort of their home environment. With a 4,000-strong Healthcare team working across every county in Ireland, we are the country’s largest non-medical home care provider.

Applications from candidates that live in a 10-15 km radius of Sandyford/Leopardstown location will be preferred as our clients are based in Dublin 18.

Responsibilities may be inclusive of the following Tasks:

• Provide Companionship
• Engage in Reminiscence Activities Board Games, Cards, Puzzles
• Prepare Light Snacks
• Medication Reminders
• Light Housekeeping -(Dusting, vacuuming, Mop Floors, General House Tidy)
• Prepare and Serve Meals
• Assist with Getting Up and Going to Bed
• Dementia and Alzheimer Care
• Personal Care - Assist with Bathing and Showering
• Assist with Walking and Exercises
• Care of People with Disabilities & Chronic Health Conditions
• Other High Dependency Care

Required Qualifications:

• Good English communication
• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.

Salary: €12.00-€15.00 per hour
