HOME HEALTH DIRECTOR | Hampton Roads Market

Position Summary

Manages the Certified Home Health Department programs in a way assures the delivery of quality services to patients in their homes and is consistent with the mission of Bon Secours Mercy Health. Develops policies and procedures for program management which comply with Joint Commission, Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulatory standards in cooperation with Administrative Directors and the Medical staffs. Responsible for ensuring that care provided to patients is of excellent quality, meets home care rules and regulations, and follows physician’s orders. All employees, if applicable, are expected to adhere to the BSHR Automobile Safety Program per policy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Virginia RN license or eligible to transfer licensure
• 3 years of supervisory experience
• 5 years healthcare related experience
• Requires working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid home health regulations and guidelines.
• Requires working knowledge of Joint Commission
