Overview:

RH Community Builders seeks a Housing Case Manager for the Tulare County Supportive Housing Program, providing affordable housing to individuals and families in Tulare County who have experienced homelessness. We are currently seeking a Housing Case Manager who will be responsible for providing guidance and support to clients throughout the housing application and selection process and continuing into the stability in their housing. This position will be based at Sierra Village in Dinuba, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with clients to assess their eligibility for housing programs and provide guidance on the application process
• Maintain accurate records of client cases and provide updates to the Program Manager
• Work with assigned Peer Support Specialist to facilitate weekly groups onsite
• Facilitate linkage to outside resources that support long term stability including but not limited to substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, and food resources
• Coordinate with additional service providers to ensure each family's needs are met
• Support Peer Support Specialist with building relationships and addressing lease violations that jeopardize housing stability
• Create and maintain positive relationships with residents, property managers, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience working in housing and/or homeless services
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
