Summary:
The Account Servicing Colleague Sr. will work with customers to identify invoices beyond payment terms.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Call on account to assure that invoices have been received and that there are no issues preventing or delaying payment.
- Determine if customer lacks motivation or ability to pay.
- Provide invoice and backup documentation as requested by the customer.
- Notify Client Solution Analyst regarding changes required to an invoice.
- Notify Collection Manager of delinquencies that cannot be remedied with an additional call to the customer.
- Call on account to follow up on commitments made by customers.
- Record all relevant findings in collections notes (Oracle).
- Research and resolve payment identification issues
- Manage system maintenance updating customers and establishing contacts
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ year Collections or Business experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
- Bachelor's Degree OR 5 year Collections or Business experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
Preferred Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of the leasing business
- Team and service orientation
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to solve problems for internal and external customers
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Commitment to follow tasks to completion and flexibility to changing work environment
- Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to deliver quality results with enthusiasm
- Ability to deal with high volumes of work within tight deadlines
- Intermediate level MS Excel and MS Word
- Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work across multiple systems and products.
- Process design, review and improvement experience will be advantageous but is not a requirement.
- Displays good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and judgement
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
