Aurai Home is looking for qualified HVAC talent to join our Team in New Bedford, MA.

We are a multifaceted business with 2 specific branches. The first is a product arm that builds high end technology devices for home energy efficiency. The second arm is a service branch, where we have acquired HVAC and Solar professionals, plumbing professionals, and more.

As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you would provide exceptional customer service delivery while troubleshooting HVAC systems in a residential & light commercial setting. Duties and schedule are subject to change.

Responsibilities as HVAC Maintenance Technician:

• Main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.
• Diagnose, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Perform maintenance of HVAC systems (replace, clean, repair, troubleshoot, etc.)
• Assist in the setup and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Diagnose, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. training programs..
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document work performance and materials procurement as directed.
• Diagnosing residential HVAC systems and duct work.
• Hand tools to perform the job at hand.
• Good hygiene, a positive personality, and a willingness to grow your earnings and your skillset!

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License
• EPA
• HVAC Certification
• 2+ Years’ Technician or Mechanic Experience (HVAC)
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
• Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
• Requires local travel as necessary.

Physical Demands: HVAC maintenance technician can often spend their time bending, crouched, or lean on their knees as they maintain and work on different types of equipment. Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
