Now Hiring: Inside Salesman – Mobile, AL

Since the doors first opened in 1976, Power and Rubber supply’s mission has always been to provide reliable products and great service to our customers. We are an industrial supply company that specializes in the sales and service of Mechanical power transmission and fluid power products. Products such as Hydraulic & Industrial Hose, Bearings, Chain, pulleys. etc. We have three branch locations in the cities of Tuscaloosa, AL, Alabaster, AL, and Mobile, AL. In addition to industrial sales, we have a Conveyor Division at our Tuscaloosa and Mobile branches that offer both Conveyor Belt Sales and Service. Our clients include rock quarries, sawmills, paper mills, steel mills, and a variety of others.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone that has product knowledge and prior experience in industrial sales. The right candidate will have adequate computer skills, a great work ethic, superior customer service, and the desire to advance within the company.

What you’ll do:

As an Inside Sales Rep, you are the ultimate liaison, serving as the go-between for many different departments. In collaboration with outside sales, you will communicate with vendors for product information, pricing, and availability to assist customers as they purchase the products and materials they need for a variety of jobs and applications.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers
• Support the sales team by prospecting and developing accounts, generating sales orders, and handling customer inquiries.
• Receive telephone requests for price quotations, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers and sales team members.
• Work closely with the purchasing and logistics department to ensure scheduled shipments are delivered on time and as promised.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
