Your Role

The Inventory Control Manager (IC) provides leadership for inventory activities, including physical inventory, standards setting and variance reporting. The IC Manager maintains and improves the integrity of the inventory systems. Reporting to the Site Manager, the IC Manager will monitor key indicators, communicate and resolve problems to prevent negative financial surprises. You will lead projects to improve inventory processes and ensure up-to-date account reconciliations.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will manage internal inventory control processes and handle exceptions
  • Coordinate with department managers to identify and understand projects and workloads
  • Oversee the execution of daily inventory policies, procedures and analysis to meet facility inventory metrics including scheduled velocity profile reviews, customer forecast reviews and inventory activity-based slotting
  • Work with security to establish and adhere to loss prevention procedures
  • Create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures and maintain the best status
  • Reconcile inventories and coordinate annual physical inventory procedures
  • You will develop a recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly
  • Manage inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, and maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection.
  • Develop a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Inventory Management distribution center or high-volume 3PL warehouse/ cross-dock.
  • 2+ years in a Warehouse environment in a supervisory role
  • 2+ years WMS experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000
