Link Solutions has an exciting new opportunity for an IT Program Manager supporting the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA), in Frederick, MD.

TELEWORK PERMITTED: Must be able to work at Ft Detrick 4 days a week, 1 day of telework permitted.

In this role, the successful candidate will monitor day-to-day activities, oversee work across the System Administrator and SharePoint Development teams. The IT PM will work closely with The United States Army Medical Materiel Development (USAMMDA) Information Technology leadership to ensure that IT systems are secure, well-maintained to USAMMDA standards, and SharePoint applications are developed and maintained to established requirements and schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works closely with USAMMDA leadership to IT develop plans, schedules, strategies, and solutions.
• Responsible for all performance on projects including maintaining performance standards, leading technology innovation, resource allocation, and personnel management.
• Leads two teams of system administrators, SharePoint developers, and IT professionals.
• Works closely with the development team to support new computing environments and system rollouts.
• Prepares program reporting and management plans.

• US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government/DoD Secret Clearance.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
• IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE) equivalent or higher.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience managing teams of 15-20 IT professionals
• Excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
