Position Title: Junior Programming Manager
Position Reports to: Clubhouse Manager

The Junior Programming Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of the Club’s Summer and Winter Junior Programs. The Junior Programming Manager must have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, and their children through effective communication skills; including strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. This person must be effective in listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns raised by members, guests, and team members while maintaining a positive, warm, and safe environment for all junior participants. The Junior Programming Manager is the liaison to the Club’s Junior Sub-Committee and facilitates the implementation of new ideas brought forth from the membership including, but not limited to activities, events, and junior/family related experiences.
The expectation of this position in the shoulder seasons is to work within the a la carte/event operations department in a supervisory capacity as well as involvement in junior/family club events throughout the year. These specifics will be determined based on candidate’s food and beverage experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop all aspects of the annual programs for all age levels and groups
- Prepare and monitor the annual budget
- Preparation of materials for the Club newsletter and email communications
- Hire and train all Team Leaders
- Schedule staff each week and approve payroll
- Coordinate programming and logistics with the professional sporting staff - golf, racquets, aquatics & fitness
- Organize/hire any specialized activities and vendors for the programs
- Create an environment where Team Leaders are engaged each, and every, day with the children in our care
- Purchasing all supplies, staff uniforms, arts and crafts supplies, and rash guards for children
- Continuous communication with parents on any concerns with children
- Monitor and process program registrations and necessary paperwork
- Process program billing
- Plan menus and culinary activities for annual programs with the culinary team
- Prepare daily writeups for club personnel for each day of programming
- Perform well under stressful or emergency situations involving children
Required Skills:
- CPR/First Aid
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Experience:
- Experience in an educational development setting preferred
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoyment of working with all age groups
- Experience working with food allergen awareness preferred
Uniform Requirements:
- TCC Golf Attire, Professional (seasonally dependent)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours
- Basic reading and writing skills and the ability to speak English conversationally.
