The Role:
The Supervisor is accountable for leading and managing a team of scientists and/or lab technicians to support Immunoassay/LCMS testing services that achieve quality standard and timeline requirements.

- As a Supervisor, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
- Manages projects and workload assignments and timely completion by group.
- Plan and coordinate the daily operational activities for employees.
- Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of the analytical laboratory including responsibility for reagent and buffer preparations, tracking of reagents and general immunoassay inventory
- Sets goals, assigns and coordinates tasks, ranks priorities, monitors performance, and evaluates performance.
- Identifies the key elements of a situation and any gaps and inconsistencies in data. Makes rational judgments from available information and analysis.
- Applies a variety of scientific principles and concepts to complete deliverables.
- Responsible for quality and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Plans and maintains sufficient resources to accomplish group tasks.
- Evaluate, coach and motivate staff.
- Promote and participate in professional development of scientists and laboratory facilities.
- Set clear goals and objectives with staff.
- Takes ownership to lead and develop that team
- Good understanding and experience of analytical procedures and general laboratory experience.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Bachelors in a scientific field with 3-5 years of laboratory experience.- Experience with GLP or other quality systems.
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and exhibit appropriate time management skills.
