Position: Lead Coding Tutor/Instructor (Lead Sensei) IN-PERSON POSITION

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Lead Sensei (Coding Tutor/Lead Instructor) to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our Sensei is the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center.

Responsibilities include:

• Learn and teach Code Ninjas’ game curriculum
• Work with children (aka Ninjas) on their belt curriculum & teach group sessions
• Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which student can grow
• Assist with Day Camps, Parent Night Outs, and Summer Camps
• Develop/modify STEM activities to support belt and camp curriculum
• Follow opening/closing and cleaning duties daily
• Managing our senseis/instructors along with our coding curriculum

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children ages 7 and up (1 year – Required)
• Computer programming experience (1 year – Required)
• Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching
• Patient, kind, and understanding
• Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work
• Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology
• Experience with Robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, or Unity.

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Mon-Fri 2-7PM Saturday 9AM-12PM
• 25-30 hours
