Requisition Summary


Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an immediate opening for Field Service Part Liaison in the After Sales Field Service Group. This position will work with the Peterbilt Field Service team, dealers and management team to provide customer service support to our end users.


Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Partner with Plant/Division Materials and PACCAR Parts to facilitate ship short deliveries to dealer/customer.
  • Collaborate with PPD on prioritization of allocated parts shipments.
  • Serve as liaison for truck delivery issues with Active Transport and fleet truck-down lists.
  • Work with Plant Liaison Engineering to locate and correct factory mis-builds that have been released to dealers.
  • TCS Reporting
  • Other Duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills


The successful candidate must:


  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office (MS Access preferred).
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Dealers, Customers, Suppliers and Peterbilt management to resolve issues in a positive and efficient manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required,
  • Demonstrate independent judgment.
  • Manage multiple priorities, keep management well informed, and display perseverance in bringing issues to resolution.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and the ability to respond quickly to issues.
  • Maintain composure and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


Applicant will be expected to have or to learn the following:


Peterbilt Product and MX Engine Knowledge

Preferred but not required


Peterbilt Systems or similar systems to the following

  • DWC / SIR (Dealer Warranty Claims/Service Information Record)
  • Copics / OPS (Peterbilt business systems)
  • E-Portal / DealerNet
  • ServiceNet, ECAT
  • SAP
  • VOG


Supplier Systems

  • Vagus Tracking System (Active Transport)
  • PPD (PACCAR Parts)
  • TCS/Salesforce


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required and 3 or more years of related technical experience preferred.
