Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Full-time OR Part-Time AVAILABLE

You will help oversee our nursing department working closely with other nursing staff. You will Assist and support individuals, as needed, in their day-to-day activities providing instruction and assistance as necessary under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure that the health care needs of individuals are met. Provide medical training and support to both individuals being supported and program staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE needed:

· Graduate of an approved practical nursing program

· current NYS LPN license.

· Two (2) years’ experience working with the developmentally delayed, physically handicapped, and/or mentally disabled population is preferred.

· Awareness of current trends in nursing and nursing care with individuals with physical and mental disabilities preferred.

· A clean, valid New York State Drivers’ License

· Ability to pass required background check.
