Senior Manager, Project Management - Sustaining

About the role

Endoscopy PMO is currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Project Management professional to lead the Sustaining PMO team and partner with the VP R&D Sustaining, and Director R&D Sustaining on the continuation of the Endoscopy product portfolio.

In this Senior Project Manager role, you will partner with cross-functional Leadership Teams across the Endoscopy division to ensure ongoing distribution of our World Class $2B product portfolio. You will develop, prioritize, and execute broad based multi-site strategic initiatives to enhance and improve Product Quality, Service Levels and Cost in an ever evolving and dynamic world of changing regulatory requirements and supply chain challenges.

Your responsibilities include:

• Execute business plans and contribute to the development of PMO team strategies
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute a target-driven approach to high growth product portfolio excellence
• Interact with and influence senior leaders on complex matters requiring coordination across multiple functions
• Lead planning and execution of large, complex programs through effective communication, planning, risk management, and team performance management
• Apply comprehensive business and industry knowledge and critical thinking to complex business challenges
• Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders with the goal of becoming a trusted business partner
• Lead, coach and develop the team to execute projects in support of strategies
• Advance the project management team competency and best practice tool kit with a focus on Sustaining excellence
• Lead the Sustaining AOP (Annual Operating Plan) process
• Define, track and analyze key Sustaining PMO business unit metrics and communicate trends to key stakeholders
• Lead the cross-functional teams in appropriate decision making through strong judgment and the ability to analyze options, implications, and trade-offs
• Ensure compliance with BSC Quality System policies, practices and processes including documentation requirements
• Demonstrate and share Product Lifecycle Process (PLCP) knowledge through delivery of high quality and high impact targets on time and on budget

What we’re looking for in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering, business or related field
• 10+ years of cross-functional management experience including project management
• Direct team leadership experience
• Deep Product Lifecycle Process (PLCP) knowledge
• Track record of success leading large, cross-functional, complex projects/programs
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and situational leadership
• Strong planning, influencing, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including MS Project
• Medical device industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, business or related field
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• Portfolio Management experience
