We are seeking to recruit a Manager for the Grant Thornton
People and Change Consulting
team, within the advisory consulting practice, based out of Dublin or Cork.
This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious and motivated individuals to join our People and Change Consulting team in a growing area. These will be challenging and fulfilling roles within a team that conducts work in areas such as performance management, change management, strategic workforce planning, stakeholder engagement and communications around change, leadership development programmes, learning and development, board effectiveness and organisational culture.
The roles are to contribute to and support the delivery of a variety of engagements, contribute to project team success on assignments, including dealing with client issues, and providing updates to the Director and Partner team. The successful candidates will be exposed to a variety of jobs, and will be given the opportunity to lead on specific projects. An additional aspect of the role at this level will be to support the business development initiatives of the team. The role will provide an excellent prospect to build a long term and sustainable career.

Our People and Change Consulting Practice established in March 2018, is part of the wider Advisory Practice at Grant Thornton.
Main responsibilities:

Leading and supporting on client and people and change projects from initiation to close
-
Engaging project stakeholders in order to effectively manage client delivery and projects
-
Working onsite and virtually with clients implementing change management programmes
-
Preparation of formal reports and presentations
-
Ensuring assigned projects and tasks meet required deadlines
-
Conducting industry research and thought leadership covering the key market sectors/target clients
-
Supporting the wider business consulting team in delivering Grant Thornton offerings in various sectors and locations; and
-
Support business development initiatives
-
Support and preparation of proposals and tendering for new client work.
Qualifications:
-
a primary degree in a relevant discipline including: HR, psychology, business, economics or similar
-
masters or further studies would be desirable
-
recognised project management qualifications would be desirable
Skills and Experience
-
a minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience preferably in a consulting or corporate environment
-
experience of working on and supporting business transformation and/or large change programmes or projects
-
experience in organisational design, strategic workforce planning, HR strategy and HR operations and/or experience in designing and delivering skills based training on topics including Leadership Development, Communication Skills and Diversity and Inclusion,
-
experience in delivering projects in areas such as change management, performance management, leadership and change, executive and team coaching, learning and development, strategic workforce planning, organisational design, HR strategy, leadership development, stakeholder communications and engagement
-
experience of working in and / or with large scale organisations
-
experience in supporting business development an advantage including preparation of proposals, tendering and bids writing
-
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
excellent written skills including the preparation of comprehensive reports and presentations
-
an ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
-
an ability to contribute and deliver in a project environment
-
ability to effectively manage a number of tasks

an ability to build strong networks

an ability to work effectively under pressure

strong leadership and people management skills;

strong attention to detail and commitment to quality; and
