ESI is now hiring a Material Handler in Miami, FL.

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESI is looking for a Material Handler to work in a team environment around moving equipment with exposure to heat, and dust.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 6-12 months warehouse or related experience.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Can work in a team environment
• Work in an environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust and work around moving equipment.
• Continuously lift up to 75 pounds

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, Inventory Cycle count and shipment of product, while meeting productivity, quality, safety, business conduct and attendance expectations.
• Effectively and efficiently use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes with a distribution center.
• Safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools, while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance.
• Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, cycle count, auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.
• Verification of Inventory quantities and condition at pick locations or stock locations within the warehouse.
• Counting and accounting for shortages, mis-picks and credits. Researching inventory variances as part of the Cycle Count Audit Program.
• Report inventory discrepancies of his/her findings or any inventory related variance to the Inventory Manager.
• Complying with policies, guidelines and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Actively participate in process improvements by utilizing the quality system.
• Other duties as assigned.
