Mental Health Counselor IV Job Description

The Mental Health Counselor IV, will provide mental health services to individuals incarcerated in the Delaware County Jail. Services will include but are not limited to mental health assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and case management. Work location for the Mental Health Counselor IV will be within the Delaware County Jail.

Mental Health Counselor IV Requirements

• Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of Master’s Degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field with two (2) years counseling experience in the field of substance abuse, mental health, required
• LISW, LPCC, required
• Workweek schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm
