Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Organize and control the work of packaging operators on a daily basis to optimize workflow and throughout.
- Help the team anticipate possible areas that are bottlenecks and take appropriate corrective action.
- Ensure full integrity of each line clearance.
- Ensure that all batch documentation is filled out correctly.
- Ensure that all training given is documented and filed appropriately.
- Maintain GMP/Housekeeping and safety standards at a high level within the area.
- Liaise with Maintenance, Warehouse and Quality to ensure full line support.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Knowledge of working within an FDA/IMB regulated facility.
- Knowledge of packaging processes within a pharmaceutical/medical device environment
- Previous experience within a packaging department would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience with development and training of team members.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments (Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse).
- Strict adherence to all related SOPs.
- Strict adherence to CGMP, FDA, ISO and HPRA regulations.
