Part-time Junior High Youth Worker
(Bilingual Spanish/ English Preferred)

Outreach - Warrenville
Outreach- Warrenville is a multi-purpose community resource center serving the residents of the Warrenville area. Programs include the Community Counseling Center, Case Management Assistance, Mentoring, and after school programming for middle school and high school youth.
Job Responsibilities:
The Part-time Junior High Youth Worker will be a member of the Quest staff providing after school services to at-risk junior high students in the Warrenville community. Responsibilities include working with groups of students in academic instruction, community service, life skills instruction and recreational activities, behavior management, team building activities and transporting students to and from the program.
Requirements:
High school Diploma required; some college preferred. Group experience with adolescents; ability to engage and build effective relationships with junior high students; experience with and sensitivity to the needs of students from low-income, high-risk families. Valid IL Driver’s License, safe driving record and proof of insurance. Basic computer skills. A commitment to Outreach’s Statement of Mission and Faith is required. Spanish language skills a plus.
Status:
Temporary from April -End of May. Monday – Friday from 2:45pm - 6:30pm.
Options for summer employment at part-time or full-time hours daytime hours.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position falls between $15-$17 based on education, skills, language ability and experience.
