Our Private Clients Tax department is the largest and fastest growing private client team in Ireland. This multidisciplinary team advises private companies, their owners and high net worth individuals on a wide range of commercial and tax issues including asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning and family offices.
About the role:

Advise and support clients on tax planning strategies to include asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning and family offices.

Assist the senior management group in preparing detailed technical tax advice in relation to various tax issues, including detailed research of tax legislation and case law.

Responsibility for an income tax compliance portfolio - consulting and liaising with clients on matters of compliance and reviewing tax returns prepared by trainees

Assist clients with Revenue compliance interventions to include Revenue audits, negotiations and preparation of TAC cases

Interact with other Deloitte offices around the world as part of globally coordinated client programs.

Assist in the management of billings and fee collection for allocated clients.
About you:

AITI qualified tax professional with relevant PQE
-
Strong tax technical knowledge – previous experience of advising clients of asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning would be an advantage

Experience of working as part of a private clients team would be an advantage
-
An ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and comprehensive way to those in the business without a tax technical background
-
ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent.

Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills.
