JOB TITLE: Product Manager

Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of assigned product line within transforming assessment/achievement measurement business. Develop and maintain product roadmaps based on customer needs through research, user forums, advisory boards, and other methods needed to obtain market information. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a mastery of market dynamics and anticipate future trends through direct research, collaboration with company leadership and subject matter experts, and direct customer interaction.
• Deliver an overall strategic vision and product roadmap for assigned product lines, including proper prioritization to maximize impact to the customer and ROI.
• Prepare and drive P&L and key financial metrics for assigned product areas gathering input from sales, marketing, finance, and technology partners.
• Lead a scrum team of Product Owners / Business Analysts, developers, and QA resources to execute the strategic vision with quality and speed.
• Demonstrate and champion user-centered design principles, including developing user personas, journey maps / workflows.
• Leverage both educational and non-educational product experiences to resolve a wide range of issues in creative, scalable ways.
• Provide thought leadership around Identified needs and possible solutions.
• Work closely with other Product Managers to ensure a consistent user experience within the application.
• Develop and share a deep understanding of the user stories and workflows to be developed, to empower the design and development teams to actively participate in the solution.
• Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration offerings.
• Participate in design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as an evangelist for the product, including delivering demonstrations and other presentations in internal sessions and to end users or potential clients.
• Liaise with the Product Line Marketing to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products.
• Introduce new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales and marketing including delivering training and demo scripts.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications
• Assist in developing product pricing and pricing models
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Previous work experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or User-Centered Design Roles (5+ years of experience)
• Experience with an educational technology, Human Resources screening tools, or similar experience with assessment products solution preferred
• Familiarity with market research, consumers’ behavior, and marketing techniques
• The knowledge to analyze KPIs and understand trends.
• Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
• Organization and confidence to work independently but also a strong team player.
• Bachelor's degree required
• Flexibility to travel as needed
