Salary Range:$49-$55/hour

Responsibilities:
-
NRM Road Inspector (RI)This position will assist and support the NRM / Natural Resource Management project across the PG&E system with GIS Mapping, new roads, and training in NRM and PG&E processes.Tasks shall include, but not be limited to, the following types of activities:
-
Familiar w/ PG&E processes and databases.
-
Identify road conditions and scope work needed for safe access
-
Road construction knowledge
-
Able to hike and traverse steep, rugged terrain
-
Drive for extended periods of time
-
Ability to drive, navigate rugged off-road terrain, use 4-wheel drive
-
Able to make sensible decisions based on available information.
-
Demonstrates proficiency in computer-based applications i.e., Microsoft Office, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, etc
-
Willing to travel throughout PG&E Territory up to 100%.

Ability to communicate and relay vital information effectively.

Actively participate in Team meetings
-
Work with PG&E and its Contractors
Requirements:
-
Degree in forestry or related field and/or experience in utility line clearance
-
Species identification skills and invasive species knowledge, plus knowledge of tree growth rates
-
Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months upon job offer
-
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
-
Ability to work independently
-
Strong verbal and written communications skills
-
Excellent customer service skills a priority
-
Proficient in map navigation skills
-
Experience with Microsoft Office and data collection software (GIS experience a plus)
