Job Summary:

The Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance Auditor will be responsible for performing program, organizational, manufacturing area, and engineering lab audits to assure compliance to the Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) QMS as well as Raytheon Technologies Policies and Procedures across all RMD facilities. The auditing process includes the planning, preparing, conducting, reporting, and following-up of corrective actions. Audits are conducted per the RMD comprehensive audit schedule and procedures.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Conducting audits and assessments by interviewing and/or investigation and examination of objective evidence, standards, procedures, work instructions, drawings, specifications, regulations, etc.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, including Customers, to plan and conduct internal audits
  • Assist in coordinating external audit activities related to the QMS, this includes Corporate, NQA and customer audits
  • Assuring planned audits are conducted on time, by interviewing, investigation and examination of objective evidence, standards, procedures, work instructions, drawings, specifications, regulations and ensuring any systemic issues are identified and addressed.
  • Reporting audit results, Corrective Action Requests (CARs) trends and improvement opportunities
  • Communicate effectively to compliance audit lead, and program and other audit stakeholders on audit related activities
  • Help to maintain an audit ready culture at all sites
  • Other duties as assigned
  • This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule. (Hybrid location can be in one of the following RTX locations: Massachusetts (Marlborough, Tewksbury, Andover) Portsmouth, RI, Tucson, AZ, or Texas, (Dallas)
  • This position does not provide relocation assistance, ideal candidate must be within commuting distance to one of the above Raytheon locations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant quality engineering experience to include auditing and/or in a continuous improvement role
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience conducting internal audits
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Have extensive experience of the domain and processes that may be assessed during audits.
  • Previous experience with Raytheon Corrective Action System (RCAS) tool.
  • Previous experience with RMD, Legacy Integrated Defense Systems, or Legacy Raytheon Missile Systems Command Media.
  • AS9100 Lead auditor certification
