Responsibilities

•

Receive, assign and communicate work orders to production plant and Ready Mix delivery trucks

•

Schedule, dispatch and monitor truck activity through computer terminal

•

Relay information from site to site via two-way radio system

•

Monitor and continuously update truck availability and delivery status

•

Correlate customer needs with other orders to insure punctual arrivals

•

Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, and written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations

•

Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

Women, minorities and veterans are encouraged to apply. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in the Ready Mix industry preferred. Familiarity with Command Series preferred but not required. Knowledge of Command Alkon, Command Batch or Command Spectrum Systems operation preferred. Have the ability to read maps and follow instructions. Proficient math skills, legible handwriting, and proper phone etiquette. Communicate well with others and act courteous and respectful. Demonstrate listening, organizational and multi task skills. Maintain positive customer relations. Ability to work in a team setting with limited supervision. Work in high stress situations while communicating effectively with multiple parties simultaneously. Work/Schedule Hours: Monday - Friday, up to 50 hours per week depending on seasonal conditions. Compensation: Full time, hourly position. Pay DOE.
