Position Summary:
Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the in-patient and out-patient Day Surgery service line.
Use therapeutic communication daily practice.
Maintain a safe therapeutic Day Surgery environment.
Implement and direct care using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual Day Surgery patients.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing process.

Education / Experience Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of professional nursing with Bachelors of science in Nursing(BSN).
2 years Acute care experience within last 5 years required.
Experience with Adult Day Surgery patients required
Licensure / Certifications Required:
Current RN license in the state of Texas.
Current BLS provider certification.
Current ACLS certification.
