Job description

Our company is looking for an experienced and skilled construction estimator who has knowledge in roofing, siding, gutter, and fencing. As a construction estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Analyzing technical data and materials requirements
- Estimating labor, material, and equipment costs
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Consulting with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
- Preparing cost reports and progress reports

Requirements:

- Knowledge in roofing, siding, gutter, and fencing
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office and construction estimating software
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
