Job Responsibilities:

· Assist student in transitioning from one activity to the next.

· Implement Behavior Intervention Plan if one is in place.

· Assist and facilitate appropriate peer interactions.

· Support classroom teacher in implementing IEP (Individualized Education Program).

· Provide positive reinforcement.

· Use strategies of ABA to provide behavior support.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma (Associates preferred).

· Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum/Mental health challenges are a plus!

· Must have reliable transportation.

-Ability to lift a student 100-125 lbs.

-Ability to maneuver a wheelchair

-Ability to assist in toileting

· Available during school hours, Monday through Friday.

Yearly malpractice insurance required.

*** This is a 1099 position.
