• After conferring with Site Managers|Security Manager complete event reports for any unusual events reported by security contract staff across assigned sites.
• Provide ongoing site visits to monitor security officers in the completion of their duties. Frequency to be determined by Senior Director of Operations and Security Manager.
• Provide semi-annual spot check of site staff (all sites) in knowledge of emergency codes and submit report to site managers to determine education needs.

• Deal discreetly with sensitive, confidential information. Type correspondence, memos, reports, minutes, etc. Copy and or fax as necessary. Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages and provide information according to established policies.
• Assist with the operation of security duties which includes, but not limited to: work schedules, overseeing contract and schedule issues, hospital key system, vehicle assignment, assessment of incident reports-including trends, lost|found.
• Conducts investigations involving thefts, injuries, intruders, complaints, etc. at 94 Stevens Road, 368 Lakehurst Road, and Egg Harbor Township sites. Conduct monthly fire drills and weekly bell tests. Conduct dept. specific incident report training.
• Maintain data for life safety and security and report to local environment of care committee. Keeps security staff informed on daily basis of ongoing security matters. Conducts unannounced spot checks to monitor performance.
• Oversees vehicle driver competency and maintains records of authorized drivers at specified sites. Conduct orientation and in-service training for security personnel at 94 Stevens, Lakehurst Road, Early Intervention and Egg Harbor Township sites.
• Conduct special studies and investigations to determine feasibility of implementing new security system, safety and life safety measures and procedures, as well as legalities and cost effectiveness of same under guidance of Senior Dir. of Operations and security manager.
• Assist Site Manager, Security Manager and Senior Dir. of Operations in formulating| implementing department policies|procedures. Keeps operating procedures current. Acts as liaison with Directors|Dir. of Operations, other depts, gov. agencies and others
• Inspects daily for fire, safety and security risks. Provides support to staff for Emergency Management training and assessment. Assists with safety rounds. Supports Lakehurst Road and Egg Harbor Township sites with same.
• Schedule and conduct quarterly review of security guard roles and responsibilities during emergency codes. Provide semi-annual spot check of site staff in knowledge of emergency codes, and submit report to site director to determine education needs.
• Schedule completion of all required self-learning packets within required timelines. maintain education records for all contracted security staff. Ensures that there is on call security coverage during off shifts for 94 Stevens.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required within one (1) year of hire.
• College degree or experience of three to five years in security with one to three years of relevant supervisory experience.
• Prefer experience in security, safety or related field, general clerical experience.
• Experience with various computer word processing software packages.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to tactfully explain and effectively enforce all security regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations concerning security, safety and fire protection.
