Job Summary
Zurich Wexford is seeking a Senior Marketing Executive that provides support and assistance in proposition development and campaign execution as well as in developing and delivering marketing strategy plans for assigned segments in order to define marketing objectives and strategies that support the delivery of the business objectives.
This role may be available part-time or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you may need.
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
- To lead, plan and execute on our direct farm insurance marketing strategy and event, advertising and digital farm marketing activity plans to drive sales pipeline working closely with the Head of Farm Direct Sales, our indoor service and outdoor farm sales teams, Head of Farm Underwriting and key farm insurance business partners and media outlets.
- With limited supervision, assists in the project planning, creation and implementation of project-specific marketing strategies.
- Executes deliverables, such as marketing communications copy for print collateral, web content, digital campaigns, secondary research, etc., ensuring all adhere to the marketing strategy and Zurich brand guidelines.
- Collaborates closely with Design and Production and Digital teams on execution of deliverables.
- Ability to translate and articulate complex products in a market-driven way.
- Works with business partners or distribution partners as needed, for deliverable creation and maintains a proficient working knowledge of company products and services.
- May assist with coordination of company events, as needed. May be responsible for supporting brand, research, digital, customer contact and/or regional marketing teams.
- Responsible for support and assistance in various marketing areas including project management and marketing communication execution.
- Assists or develops content and copy for website, digital campaigns, fact sheets, brochures, etc.
- Ensures all marketing materials are in compliance with brand guidelines and approval by legal department.
- Keeps marketing managers and business partners apprised of project status.
- Assists with primary and secondary market research and analysis.
- Ability to track and measure key metrics and report results.
- Provides project management, problem analysis, and recommendations regarding various marketing problems identified by the team or management.
- May manage a portfolio of 1 – 2 specified segments; leading the drive for overall marketing contribution towards business objectives.
- Manage the successful completion and reporting of ‘owned’ marketing plans.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 3 or more years of experience in related field
Additional Education / Experience
- Proven skills in Microsoft office
- Experience handling multiple projects
- Conceptual and analytical orientation
- Excellent organizational and writing skills
- Knowledge or experience with digital marketing campaign development an advantage
- Experience working in or knowledge of farming or agri related businesses
- Flair for creative design and copywriting
- Ability to build and develop partner relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Business Accountabilities
- Prepare reports showing the results of marketing initiatives and campaigns for relevant area of expertise to support the decision-making process.
- Analyse and create marketing insight based on the data available and requirements set by more senior roles, to provide detailed information to help develop policy for the relevant area of expertise.
- Work across multiple products and functions to support one marketing channel in the relevant area of expertise.
- Maintain relationships as necessary by influencing or reasoning with either internal or external stakeholders in order to support delivery of processes.
- Apply expertise to support part of a pillar or customer segment, with standard products that are small volume and relatively simple through limited distribution channels.
- Research, develop, enhance and communicate the customer and/or broker value propositions for assigned segments, collaboratively with all parts of the Marketing team and wider business areas.
- Research, develop and implement compelling ‘take to market’ strategies and effective, integrated campaigns and initiatives, collaboratively with all parts of the Marketing team and wider business areas.
- Prepare reports showing the results of marketing initiatives and campaigns to support the decision-making process, define marketing objectives and strategies.
- Provide marketing advice and support to the Heads of Segment and other key stakeholders to ensure the needs of segment are met within policy constraints.
- Provide specialist advice to support the local marketing team to ensure that there is no misalignment between policy and practice.

Primary work location is Wexford. Position is Wexford based but occasional travel may be required to other Zurich locations.
