Senior Python Developer required to join one of our large consulting clients in the Republic of Ireland on a 12-month contract.

This role will be mainly remote however will require occasional office commutes to Dublin for training and workshops where necessary.

The position will be helping to support and work on a bespoke Fund Audit & Analytical tool which delivers client specific insights and continuous assurance.

They are looking for someone who will be able to work with the Product Owner/Manager to ensure that development is in line with the requirements, as well as implement high quality code in an agile environment with a focus on quality and scalability. You will also be ensuring that applications work efficiently and effectively from an end-user perspective and in line with best practices and collaborate with the development team and audit business to define, design and deliver creative and innovative solutions.

Key experience required:

• Python development experience, performing data engineering/analysis using Pandas in an Agile environment
• Excellent grasp of financial Data Modelling concepts related to analytics
• Knowledge and experience of the Django web framework, specifically the Django REST Framework
• Experience working in Linux/UNIX environments
