Social Media Specialist
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Marketing team as a Social Media Specialist. This role provides highly ambitious and motivated candidates with the opportunity to become a key part of an established team within the firm. This will be both a challenging and fulfilling opportunity with the potential to develop your range of skills significantly. The role involves working across all areas of Digital Marketing with a focus on social media.
Main responsibilities:

Manage and monitor all Grant Thornton social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok)

Creation of social media calendars and content for all social media channels

Create imagery to be used across different social media platforms
-
Manage and grow the firms Employee Advocacy programme
-
Expand the firms social media presence
-
Manage the firms paid advertising campaigns
-
Play a leading role in the firms sponsorships and campaigns
-
Build relationships with influencers and industry thought leaders
-
Complete regular competitor analysis
-
Support and train staff members in social media best practice
-
Report on latest trends in the digital marketing sector
-
Provide support with other ad-hoc duties as required
Skills and attributes:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing/Social Media focussed role

Third level qualification, preferably in Digital marketing or other related discipline

Experience using the Adobe Suite – mainly InDesign and Photoshop
-
Experience in using Google Suite, industry standard marketing tech tools & CMS platforms preferred
-
Experience working with paid adverts on social media platforms

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team

Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

High levels of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
